Sydney Scooler is in her first year of teaching with the Paschal High School band. Originally from Richmond Hill, Georgia, Ms. Scooler has been involved with music for most of her life, beginning piano lessons at age seven and learning the horn in her elementary band. Ms. Scooler earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in music from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. While attending Luther, she performed in both the Concert Band and they Symphony Orchestra, as well as with multiple brass quintets. Ms. Scooler has also been active in Drum Corps International since 2014, marching with Carolina Crown from 2014-2017 and teaching both brass and visual technique with the Colt Cadets in 2018 and 2019. After graduating, she moved to Texas to begin her teaching career.
