Nikkie Galindo,

Student Teacher

Nikkie Galindo is currently completing her final semester at Texas Christian University as a Music Education Major studying flute. She will be serving the band programs at Paschal High School and McLean Middle School as a student teacher. 

Originally from Midland, Texas, Nikkie began studying flute at the age of eleven. Since then, she has performed in a variety of ensembles including concert band, marching band, orchestra, pit orchestra, and TMEA All-State Bands. At TCU, Nikkie has performed as the principal flute and piccolo of the Wind Symphony and Symphony Orchestra. She has also performed in the Concert Band and Horned Frog Marching Band on alto saxophone and clarinet. In addition to performing, Nikkie has taught private lessons, sectionals, and masterclasses for five years in and around Fort Worth. 

Following graduation, Nikkie plans to attend graduate school to pursue a Master's Degree in Flute Performance and strives for a career in performing and collegiate-level education.
